"I might have to talk with the admin of your world, but it is possible." And Adam didn't betray that feeling. "But it will make the payment a bit too much."
"Have no worries, I have no thoughts of going back on my words. Even if you turn me into a mindless puppet I shall not complain." She said firmly. "So, what is the payment? Can we talk about it now or after everything is settled?"
"No, we can do it now and I would prefer it that way… but there is just one thing I want to tell you before that. Just know that I don't mean to disgrace you by this, it is how this shop operates and I have no control over it." Her wish was noble, to say the least.
Adam could feel her honesty and good intentions for her people. It wasn't easy to suffer for others. It took more than just being nice or kind-hearted, and it was the one thing he respected above all else.
Thankfully, the knight could see that it wasn't mere lip service.
"Please, feel free to speak it. We are all bound by something, and I'll do my best to understand your position as you have done for me." She said, the graceful shine on her even surprised Grayfia.
Because the last blonde knight wasn't this pure in any sense, unless degeneracy was the subject.
"About the payment, it is done through sexual intercourse. The amount will be decided when I write up the contract…" Adam had gotten over the part where he had a problem talking about the payment, this felt awkward because of how noble the woman in front of him was. It just made him feel some type of way about this.
"…I am a woman under this armor." For the first time, she faltered in her words.
"I know." Adam gave a thumbs up, only women could enter after all.
"…I thought that would've been a problem for a moment." She sighed in relief.
"No, don't get me wrong. I love women, only women, just women!" Adam leaned over the table to make his point three times.
"I-I see. My apologies for the baseless assumptions." Arthur coughed to clear up the awkward air.
As Adam sat back, he started to think about how he should tackle this contract. What he has to do this time is create a loop of sorts. Normally he would need to specify the number of times that loop would happen in the contract from the get-go, however, he didn't know the exact number of times it would take for Arthur to fulfill her wish. If he puts a number down and she goes over it, they'll have to start a new contract after completing the last one. And on the off chance she did it before the number specified, she'd have to pay the price set nonetheless.
That was why, the best way to solve this situation would be to make a contract for every loop, and after every loop, they'd have to complete the contract. But Adam thought that was worse than the previous one, mostly because he didn't feel it would be right to stop Arthur's journey to complete her wish with repeated sex. It would just feel cheap and would just be a bad showing.
"Is something to matter?" She asked, seeing him deep in thought.
"…No, I was just thinking of visiting the administrator of your world and having a talk with them to confirm some things." He stood up, but before leaving he left her with some words. "Believe me, I'll see that your wish is granted and you find peace at the end of this."
'Peace… I see.' Arthur placed her hand on her chest, hundreds of scenes flashing before her eyes. They were great in number, but the common thing was the suffering of her subjects, the people she failed throughout her rule. If anything, she wanted to bring peace to them.
"You can trust Master, he never lies." Grayfia said after Adam left.
Arthur looked at Grayfia's red eyes, there was much she wanted to say to the silver-haired woman, millions of questions that she wanted to ask her about this place, about Adam, about this contract among other things. However, in that moment she simply nodded for reasons unknown to even her.
"Yes, I trust him." It wasn't her mind, rather for some inexplicable reason her heart trusted Adam, a man she had only met today.
Everything he said, his intentions, and his promise at the end. She couldn't help but believe him.
It was an instinct that rose from the depths of her soul.

Adam arrived in the heart of nothingness. There was no matter, no form, nothing anywhere—yet somehow, everything was here. The universe and all its secrets, the countless stars radiating energy, the planets teeming with life, the very fabric of space and time, and the endless dimensions spun by the choices of trillions upon trillions of lives. All of it existed, though without substance, as if waiting to be given shape.
This pitch-black surrounding was the linchpin of this gargantuan multiverse. Soon, the one who looked over it also arrived.
A woman with short ink black hair, and black eyes similar to the void around them. She wore a geta with a plain purple kimono that was easily a luxury item, it was the best Adam had seen even if it looked basic. Above it she wore a red jacket, mixing the code yet it suited her youthful look.
Standing a step away from Adam she looked up because of the height difference. Although she looked like a frail girl, Adam could see her strength. She didn't appear to be on guard neither did she have a weapon at hand, and her clothes and footwear weren't suited for combat, yet he could see the strength she possessed very clearly.
This was the strongest administrator he had come across so far.
"So, what is it you have come to propose?" She asked, her face and voice static as their surroundings.
"My client's wish is simple, but the execution is going to need some gymnastics." Adam said, getting no reaction from the woman even with the possible havoc it could cause.
"I know of your position… and honestly prefer if things go smoothly." There was a bit of a gleam in her eyes, but it died quickly. "We do not have enough resources to support you, so as long as you can simplify the process and lower the cost on our end, we won't disrupt your work." She said at the end.
"So, you want me to shoulder the cost of the creation and destruction of the timeline in case of failures, but that would increase the payment for Arthur." Adam's eyes narrowed, that was one thing he wanted to keep on the lower end.
"That is for her to see, changing the past, present, and future to your liking comes at a heavy cost." The woman didn't even bat an eyelid.
