Chapter 59 - 57. When in rome.

The routine of creation, dungeon farming, and acting like a Cheshire cat on holiday lasted for several weeks. By the time anyone noticed what was happening in this lost city, it was already far too late. Having amassed a massive combat force even if it wasn't top in combat, each unit could hold its ground against the average awakened fighter, and many could go toe to toe with dungeon bosses on their own, what does this spell out for everyone else? Simple, its now a unified and freshly birthed sovereign city, completely out of everyone's control with a military might equivalent or better than most cities even if they don't have top end combatants. So, as the saying goes, when in Rome? Do as the Roman's, so now the cities nearby have two choices, declare all out war or make tentative alliances and potential trade and immigration agreements. And those who don't? They may just get trampled or forced into their own corner unable to play this new game that Silver is setting up, a game filled with traps and loaded with tricks. And every last one of her people already knows she is up to trouble with the amassed army, something she could've done sooner if she had wanted but chose now to put it on everyone's radar, and trouble is quite literally her middle name, go figure. It doesn't even go a week after other cities got word when her 'old friend' the one who had patched her up and had planned on collating her to his throne in turn showed up with his own massive army, numbering nearly a hundred thousand strong of all sorts of combatants, but an unusual amount of which seems to be anti mana or anti mana gear that it's almost obvious who that's targeted for. V moves to her very tall wall, equipping her personal armor, the first time she gets to wear it in anticipation of a fight, and also getting to show off her new arm. After getting a good view, she calls out, letting her voice travel to the approaching army. "I'd welcome you if I thought this was a friendly visit but I see you mean me great bodily harm, so I will give your army only one chance, leave now and I will not hunt you down, you will live to see another day. Stay and I will go out of my way to kill everyone here, crippling your city's military might." She doesn't wait for a reply as she waves a hand and every machine scattered for miles fades and reappears facing the approaching army, and several massive turrets clank from the depths of the city, turrets that would've looked more at home on a massive dreadnought instead of a city wall defense, but with all that, the most intimidating is enyo and Tyr one a massive hulking metal bear that dwarfs the massive mechanical army, and Tyr, radiating an uncanny bloodlust for a machine. After her mana settles but doesn't fade, even as all those anti mana gear pass through it makes several frown. But, the city lord simply seeing it as yet another of her tricks, perhaps a bluff since the last time he saw her she was half dead and missing a limb, not a metal boned cyborg who is level 40 with an all new arsenal she has been looking to stress test. "Silver Hailstorm, we have a warrant for your arrest, effective until capture of kill, surrender now and come peacefully and we will see to it your people are taken care of!" He made his voice boom with mana to sound as loud and intimidating as he thought he ought to be being more than double her level and all. But in truth he had doubts, afterall she is beyond crafty and is classified in many documents as a combat genius, having the ability to adapt to any fight and capable of fighting much stronger opponents, her files while incomplete had spoken highly of her combative nature even highlighting her illegal cage matches, not to mention she wiped the floor with the last bounty hunting force by herself, he really did take her as seriously as he thought he should, but doubts still crept in at the sight in front of him. "Surrender? What for? Kings don't bow to other kings, and you are on my lands, but we'll, I gave my warning and mercy so...well...fuck you in particular..." lacking a social filter was a quirk of her she liked at this moment as pandemonium exploded, her army surged like a tide, the majority striking for the anti magic with an uncanny targeting, tearing through the hostile forces in a bloody storm of her fury, and that's before she left the wall, pushing forward towards the other city lord with far more strength and speed than he remember, even as he tried to set her ablaze, but that armor of hers isn't for show as she simply slams through the flames, shoulder checking him like a run away freight train slamming into a car stuck on the rails, sending him flying with a nearly earth shaking boom, making many on both sides wince. Getting hit by and nearly 300 hundred pound ball of mythril going nearly a hundred miles an hour on foot is not on bingo cards...yet.
