It was two in the morning when Gu Lanshan finally woke up.

She opened her eyes, looking at the familiar surroundings of the room, then turned her head and saw Sheng Shi holding her tightly while sleeping. The sight made her inexplicably calm, and she leaned closer into Sheng Shi's arms.
As Sheng Shi was a light sleeper, Gu Lanshan's movement woke him up immediately. He turned up to shield her, raised his hand, and gently touched her face: "Chu Chu, do you feel any discomfort?"
Gu Lanshan shook her head.
