The old Taoist, whose Daoist name was Qingfeng, had only one disciple by his side, whom he had granted the Daoist name Sanyuan. In fact, he originally wanted to name his disciple Santong, as he had but three copper coins to his name when they met.
Sanyuan thought it didn't sound nice and insisted on changing it to Sanyuan.
The master and disciple were led to a serene courtyard guarded as tightly as a fortress. The servant reminded them, "The Daoist needs only to expel the demon. Do not inquire about anything else."
The old Taoist pursed his lips and said nothing, though internally he was in a state of panic.
