Ethan didn't explain.
He commanded the sand to reassemble in midair, shaping a torso first, then adding a head and four limbs. Before long, a human figure made entirely of sand appeared before them.
It was Marek.
Of course, Ethan had thrown the body together on a whim, so it had a few minor flaws.
For instance, the hands were attached where the legs should have been.
And the feet stuck out from either side of the shoulders.
"Well?"
Ethan studied his handiwork.
"Happy with your new body?"
Marek looked down at his upside-down, misplaced limbs. His sandy face twitched violently.
Anyone would be furious after being forced into a body like this.
Marek even more so.
"Ethan!"
His voice echoed from within the sandy body.
"When you reach the main city, I, the patriarch of House Voss, will make you pay! I swear I'll—"
Before he could finish, Ethan hurled the sand body into the sky.
