The event ended anticlimactically.
Those who had expected to witness punks bullying two women, followed by a trip to the police station where the culprits would be questioned, released, and then return to harm society again, were left speechless.
Welp, now they had to worry whether the girls would be punished for defending themselves.
The law here was so outrageous that people constantly complained about it.
It was as if someone broke into your house to steal something, yet you couldn't fight back because they hadn't threatened your life.
Otherwise, you could end up being countersued by the thief.
A completely nonsensical and ridiculous presumption.
"Damn, do you know who my father is? I swear—"
Pfft.
The punk leader couldn't finish his sentence because Ling Qingyu smacked his face with her foot before casually clapping her hands to dust off the dirt.
Honestly, it had been a while since she had made a move herself.
She felt a little rusty.
