Ling Qingyu's vision of her girls doing police work part-time to help Yang Qingyue was about to end, despite what she had originally planned.
After all, with violent crime rates going down, Spirit Fox's presence had undoubtedly played an essential role.
Besides, Yang Qingyue, the police chief, wasn't saying anything about disbanding them, so Ling Qingyu wasn't too worried.
Of course, Su Ruomei's and Jiang Yu's complaints were sometimes funny. Most of their emergency responses involved domestic affairs.
Imagine a couple fighting, with a concerned but nosy neighbor making a call. The nearest unit happened to be Spirit Fox. The couple must have been too scared to fight again upon seeing heavily armed officers geared up outrageously outside their door.
Or imagine an abusive husband or wife being too scared to repeat the offense, lest the next time, a formation of Spirit Fox operators broke in directly without knocking.
