Karn looked over all of the newly gained features he had unlocked. They were quite useful he thought, especially the Inventory feature. It allowed him to put away his spoils of battle he had acquired into this little blue screen in front of him. He could also retrieve anything he wanted with just a thought.
After rummaging through all of the bandit hideout he had acquired 200 pieces of silver 4 pieces of gold. 3 books and some stashed away herbs that were identifiable to be useful by God's Eye.
The three new martial art books were the Myriad Mirror Martial Art, Stone Skin Martial Art and a tattered old book that was read by the system as Dragon Meteor Cultivation Technique. It was a cultivation technique rather than a Martial art used for fighting.

Karn took a moment to study the martial arts and spent his points accordingly.
Stamina: 20 --> 50
His battered body that was on the edge of falling down suddenly gained vitality that could be only gained through years of painstaking endurance training. His stamina, speed and Intelligence stat by Karn's estimate were comparable to a Tier 1 Warrior like Thorn. Of course Thorn's stats were distributed towards strength and stamina than his intelligence or agility of course but stamina had made him realize it.

Karn decided to learn them all. His fight between himself and Thorn seemed to be equal if not himself having the upper hand but in reality it was a dire fight. If his gamble had not paid off his Tier 2 level stamina would never have lasted against a monster like Thorn.
Karn reviewed his fight with the bandit leader in his head over and over again. If he didn't have the Fire Fist Martial Art from Ban he would never have been able to kill Thorn. Ultimately, his cheat skills and use of multiple martial arts was the reason he had been able to beat a Tier 1 Warrior while being a Tier 2 Warrior himself.
'I wonder if I can kill a Peak Level Warrior now? How much stronger are they?' With these thoughts a devilish grin had bloomed on Karn face. Karn once again moved his hand to squeeze his cheeks as hard as possible to relax his smile.
Karn moved closer to the cave entrace and opened all of the cages of the women that were locked up. Most of them were asleep or dead and the ones who were awake looked at Karn's fight from before with little interest. Their fire of life had extinguished such it did not matter that an old blind man had been fighting and killed the bandits and the leader.
There was just one woman among them that still had some life left in her eyes.
She walked out of the cage first as soon as they opened and bowed profusely to Karn.
"Thank you elder! We are so very grateful for your help. Please don't worry about us, I will help them get back to the village." The young woman said, fearful that the elder before her would turn out to be just like the bandits.
"Hm." Karn said as he turned away and walked into the woods.
Karn knew the woman's thoughts and cared little for them. It did not matter to him as long as they got home safely. If one of these women had been his granddaughters would he not have killed the bandits and the man who refused to help them get back to the village safely?
Karn's renewed vigorous body moved slowly back to the Crane Village following the group of women back to the village without being noticed.
For the first time in this world he was not in a hurry. So then he wandered the trail back to the village while watching the scenery the God's Eye provided. No matter how much he saw he could not get enough. For some odd reason the boars and deers did not notice or care for Karn's presence it seemed like he was invisible.
Crane Village came into sight as it did for the group of women. Their families had gathered at the foot of forest hill awaiting for their return.
The villagers had learned what had happened from Rei due to the commotion in the woods and followed suit wondering if the elder would bring back their daughters and sisters who had been taken by force.
Many of the disheveled women from the bandit hideout had their fire of life which had been extinguished return blazing hot as they saw their families in what felt like forever.
Silence overtook the two groups and suddenly...
They ran.
They hugged.
They cried.
Such was the end of the tragedy that had befallen Crane village.
Karn walked back into the village after them entering the village without anyone noticing.
Rei and Shin were packing up and getting ready to leave the village.
"But R-R-Rei shouldn't we stay until the elder comes back? We have to thank him for helping us." Shin spoke. Shin was a 12 year old who still saw the good in people. Some like his sister may call him naive but he did not care.
