Although he knew she doted on her sister, the way she just left him here still made him a little uncomfortable.
'It's like everything is more important to her than I am.'
Anne Sutton followed Sharon Sutton back to their family's place and saw Anna Linden learning to cook from Mrs. Sutton. The two were deep in conversation, looking like best friends who had known each other for years.
Watching this scene, Anne Sutton smiled slightly. "Mom, Dr. Linden."
Anna Linden's gaze fell on Anne Sutton. "Weren't you out with Nathan and the kids? Why are you back so soon?"
Anne Sutton said, "Sharon wasn't feeling well, so we came back early."
"What's wrong?" Mrs. Sutton asked, looking at Sharon Sutton.
Sharon Sutton replied, "It's nothing. I just haven't been out in a while, so I'm not used to it."
Mrs. Sutton chuckled. "Your sister is always telling you to get out more! You're cooped up in the shop with me every day; you really should get out for a walk."
