Last chapter, a quick meet up between two childhood friends hiding lots of what they wanna show. Gwen felt panic after hearing an unexpected answer from the friendly neighborhood Spiderman. As a new character appears, armed with more force and new weapons, darkness continues to spread as Spiderman is nowhere to be found, only Peter parker feeding on hatred waiting for the moment to strike back...
But the risk is too big. Is it worth it?
Next 4 days, No one could get a hold on Peter or contact him, no matter the visitors to his house or the calls to his cell. He just went underground and by that he was literally underground in the sewers taking the falling ruins of his house as a vantage point between the surface and the secret routes of the infrastructure of the city.
Until, on the 5th day of May's funeral, around noon exactly... It was lunchtime in the school's cafeteria. Gwen & MJ walked together in the cafeteria as they found solace in each other's' prescience after the last painful events. The red head held her tray walking in a queue to choose her lunch, while the other sullen blond girl hid her eyes under her spectacles as she walked beside her with her own lunch bag in her hand. Suddenly she saw her ex-boyfriend on the phone barging out in anger shouting at the man on the other end, she simply glimpsed him from far and turned her face away sighing in pain.
"Did you really break up with Harry?" MJ leant on her secretly.
With another tiresome sigh that escaped her scarred lips "How much time do I have to tell you..? Yes, we got in a fight & He... he was rough, MJ. He looked abnormal"
"You seem worried about him?"
Gwen looked down as they moved to a table in a concerned quiet voice "Yes, I'm afraid Harry might be juicing again... you knew his father died no so long"
In a try to cheer her, the redhead chuckled "Your life is so messed up... Both your best friends are missing & you're alone. But, Peter is alive. Don't worry, he'll show up..."
And as they were going to reach their food, a ruckus was taking place as whispers increased and they suddenly heard {...OH, it's him. Peter Parker is back}
The girls looked at each other then stood to see the pitiful guy crunching at one corner near the long wall of the cafeteria, wearing his black shirt & blue jeans, just sitting alone staring at his back bag on the table on him... Some people approached him, however none took the first step towards the feeble boy who pulled his back bag to him strangely.
Finally, a tray was put before him, as MJ broke the silence "Have you eaten?"
Liz tried to barge in too so she closed the distance "Peter, are you okay__?" ... but she swallowed back the words when she saw the deep blacked rings under his eyes, his cheek bones showing up and his lowered back shrugging and clenching on his bag... They thought, those might be of long crying nights but they were actually from long nights of work.
MJ reached for his hand without a word but then, Gwen who stood by his side, called his name reluctantly "Peter?"
But he didn't answer. She couldn't bring herself to sit down near him so she patted on his shoulder "...You alright?" comfortingly, but Peter held his bag tightly muttering "Go Away"
"Peter" they called in a startle unable to see his face. But then he sprung up shouting in real anger alarming the whole place and grabbing everyone's attention "Just leave me alone. Get away from me"
The Girls backed few steps from him. Everyone stopped eating... looking at the boy who grabbed their attention from the beginning but now, they became more wary of the situation. Flash who was nearby tried to march to him, nevertheless BAM.
A wide explosion from both the cafeteria's ceiling and the main entrance deafened the ears of many around. A cloud of dust spread everywhere and a high pitch sound of screams and machineries running loud sent everyone's senses astray. Those who were smart, simply hid behind table, but at such moment, fear take more hold over the body, so students began running and hiding to the walls, those who were unfortunate were wiped away like Legos crumbing over as they were scattered away by a large tentacle sweeping whatever in its way. It took 60-90 seconds to vision to be clear again and for others to see the situation more clearly as the dust dwelled down.
Five Super Villains, standing on metal tentacles, flying with a carbon fibered wings, emitting sparks at the door, rummaging inside near the food, and sniffing for his prey like a predatory beast. They took hold of the cafeteria.
Many screamed in fear echoed throughout the school, remembered by the latest painful strike of this evil sinister. Hazy thoughts conquered their panic-stricken mind 'will we die like those in the hospital?'
'Why are they here?'
From one corner, under a table... Gwen hid with MJ while Flash and Liz took cover under another.
Dr. Octopus, Electro, Rhino, Kraven and Vulture. All of them stopped and gathered in the middle facing that specific corner. Gwen simply tried to grab peter's hand... away from danger but the boy was nonchalant of all the mess, he stood there gathering them all in his line of sight, ignoring these fearful shaking fingers clenching weakly on his hand.
Fear was reaching the climax till the mastermind of the attack, Dr. Octopus, snickered "Mr. Parker, How are you doing? ...Finally out of the darkness"
Whispers were heard as tension snapped and students looked at the young boy -wearing his back bag- strangely staring back at them... "Does he know them?"
"They killed his aunt"
"Ah... But why are they after him here!"
Whispers continued secretly, yet the boy's retort conclusively came crushing the silence hovering on the cafeteria... "What took you so long? I was waiting"
Chatters spread like fire.
Students felt their spines shiver when they saw the boy's eyes momentarily turns almost they were spilling doom to the villains.
Gwen stuttered "Pete !!!" and let go of his hand in fear upon hearing this intense tone and watching his vicious look glaring back at those supervillains , holding her chest panic-stricken, watching him with wary eyes.
However, Octopus' shouts commanded the start of the battle "Enough of the Chit-Chat. Get him"
Electro shouted as always "Aarrggh..." He emitted sparks and rushed first at him
Rhino scrambled to him pointing his Horn "squashing time"
Vulture shouted "DIE, pest" while shooting his missiles towards the boy
Kraven called "You are mine" throwing his daggers towards him.
Everyone screamed as they thought of the boy as a goner...__BUT Peter amazingly slammed the table beside him to cover for the dagger coming to the people beside him and in the same movement, he took aid from it in his jump towards Electro's side holding his neck with elastic gauges punching his face him very hard, then his spider senses rang loudly but he already knows what was coming, he glimpsed Rhino rushing to him so Peter reflexively held the out cold-Electro by his leg and threw him into Rhino's way, but the big beast simply slammed his comrade out of the way, rushing forward, but to his less knowledge, Electro was more of a decoy. Peter landed hard on Rhino with a powerful kick that flattened the man's rush and dropped him on his knees.
He then took him as a stepping stone and jumped up towards the flying vulture and his missiles that was causing more ruckus in the cafeteria, he grabbed some tray from tables near him and threw them into the missile and redirected it into another. While he dodged the other two that keeps following him as they were locked at him.
Vulture shouted and dived down with both wings spearing at the boy but, in that special moment, Peter jumped up avoiding his fatal rush. And instantly threw a dagger -he secretly grabbed from Kraven's far attack- at the man's left wing to pin him to the ground. Peter bounced at him from high, Vulture's back was completely exposed.
"You always get on my nerves" PETER dived his bare hand into vulture's machine with a small electromagnetic inducer ".....AAAAHHHH" Screamed Vulture out of pain like as he was shocked to death by high intense voltage that originated from his machine and fried his brain.
Peter stood beside the brain fried man looking to the others "Who is next?"
Students' awe was out of reach, their shouts and amaze was high loud that some forgot about the fear from the villain and stopped shaking as they were watching their normal friends single handily stopped the sinister but some of them was secretly having thoughts about the hidden puzzle behind this scene. While others simply kept looking at him thinking "Is that Really Peter Parker?"
Rhino awoken by Vulture's screams, he staggered as he shouted "You cheap insect..." but Peter charged at him this time before the man could take his stance, he pulled something from his back bag again and evaded Rhino's erratic punch and crawled over him and stabbed his neck with a metal shot. The strongest mutant fell in shivers and trembles shouting in pain and rolled on the ground in a feeble way as his body semi transformed back to human, not all, just parts of his body, he looked super pitiful in his strange form.
Students awe turned to fear from the mad boy who nonchalantly stepped away from the screaming man fixing his bag and shooting daggers with his eyes towards specific person.
Kraven looked at his prey who instantly changed into a wild beast hunting them in a cruel way.
Kraven shouted "How did you get this formula?"
The boy snickered "Excuse my imperfectness, I didn't get a perfect score in bio-genetics"
Kraven stepped back feeling the chills running up his spine, might be his animal instinct, only one though surfaced his delirious mind at that situation 'Not that shot, I can't lose my power" Kraven flee away. Peter sprinted to catch him, but he got swept away like some trash by a monster's tentacle who was waiting for his opportunity.
Peter got blown away painfully, he crashed into the kitchen and some debris fell on him.
Screams filled the place where students looked in fear at the powerful attack and the ferocity of the mastermind who shot the boy's body like a ragged toy, such a swipe is enough to send break down a normal man.
They tried to move but Octopus' snickered filled the ruined cafeteria "Kukuku, you really worked hard preparing those shots for everyone... Are you that furious for killing one old lady...?"
Gwen stood in anger clenching her shaking fist "You monster, how could you?"
"Oh, Isn't that Cap. Stacy's little girl? Did you call me a monster? I'm a scientist, dear. I did my best to develop those genetic samples, but I couldn't acquire the ultimate sample. The spider's sample but he could. That's why he have to die for me, for the sake of Science"
But then loud gasps shook the place as people saw the rubbles moving and a figure emerging from the ruins, carrying a large debris, throwing it to the sides.
their surprise rose to maximum as they the young man's dark shirt slowly growing up to devour his body whole and he finally appeared in his black suit with his spider logo big and wide on his chest, staring back at his enemy through those menacing large white eyes.
Some of them gasped "Spiderman" while others gasped "Parker"
"Spiderman... Peter parker..!!!"
People just called in both awe and surprise, some in denial and some sighing as they predicted the truth but all had their hearts pumping loud from the gigantic developments of the events.
The two monsters faced each other from distance.
"DR. OCTOPUS"
"SPIDERMAN"
They fiercely clashed into a large death fight... the two of them were fighting all over the place, Oc. trying to catch the Spider with his long metal spooky tentacles while the web swinger kept jumping from one corner to another webbing his tentacles down to the floor and pinning his body down. He flipped evading his steel arm and closed the distance and punched him hard right in face. The spider didn't stop at that. He pulled his whole weight by the tentacle he was holding and threw the man to crash into the Kitchen, or what's left of it.
Spiderman walked to him with the last shot he prepared for him and when Spiderman was about to stab him with another electromagnetic-nerve killer shot. Dr. Octopus quickly grabbed two pans on the floor and clashed them together.
Peter fell on Ground screaming in pain.
Dr. Octopus stood up while making these noises again and again "You thought, only you could defeat everyone by hitting their weak points... Kekeke, even you can be defeated. After all, I too know your weakness" and when Dr. Octopus was about to stab the boy with his tentacle.
(Bang Bang) Cap. Stacy who just arrived shot the metal pans from Dr. Octopus. Spiderman took the opportunity & quickly webbed his leg & knocked him down then he tied his tentacles except the one he pulled to impale him. The boy directed it to the mad scientist's face and was about to stab Dr. Octopus with his own weapon
"Stop it Spiderman" Cap. Stacy shouted as he took few steps towards the boy.
Officer DeWolff & Sergeant. Carter wanted to stop Spiderman by force, they shouted "He'll kill him"
But Cap. Stacy called coming in the way between them "No, I'll talk to him"
"But Chief..." DeWolff said but the man in charge already turned his attention to the young & called "Kid, You don't have to do that"
Gwen looked to her father startled, as she found a new piece of the puzzle... She turned to see Peter's back as the Symbiont was regressing slowly to its black shirt-form.
"Don't kill him Peter.. He is not worth getting your hands dirty"
The mad scientist snickered as he was pinned down "Kukuku, that's right Peter. Kill me. I killed your Aunt"
"Shut up Otto" Stacy shouted, as she slowly stepped towards them.
"Why should I leave him?" Peter growled.
"I knew you're angry but don't take your revenge in such a barbaric way"
"For God's sake, stop acting like that. It's not because you know something or two about it, Captain.. That means you understand it"
"Still you can't__"
"Why Not? WHY?" Peter shouted, "A scum like him, the world sure will be better off without him" Peter shifted his monstrous glaring eyes down at the villain. But Stacy's calls kept ringing in the boy's ears "He has to live to be punished for what he did!"
"Not enough..." Peter held the Tentacle tightly and shrieked "GIVE ME ONE DAMN REASON FOR NOT KILLING THAT MURDERER"
"..To not be like him, isn't that enough?"
"It's alright, I care no more" Peter sighed.
"You can't. Because that's who we're... That's what make us different from them... That's how Spiderman deal with things. I know you want your Vendetta but believe me, it won't bring you any peace. We can't be like them. That's the difference between us & them"
"I really wanna kill him" The man weakened for a sec.
"I know, me too. But that's not you. It's the Symbiont Peter. You're becoming like Venom. Burnt by envy, eaten by anger, possessed by this evil power. Please don't cross the Line"
Peter walked down from the monster. The officers came on & pulled him away, however Octopus began laughing
"Hahaha, that's right. Peter... you cannot defeat me. Just wait for me. I'll get out of prison and I'll come see you again"
"Shut up" Cap. Stacy shouting.
(Kill him peter, kill him. He killed that poor old woman mercilessly. How can't you avenge her, you let her die... like you did to Uncle Ben)
That moment, peter heard that voice which rang into his head, his muscles unconsciously did it (Whep whep) D. Octopus fell on the ground shaking like a mad man & began drooling till he stopped moving with his eyes white like a ghost & his mechanic tentacles died down. That was an awful end for Dr. Octopus.
Cap. Stacy, the officers. Everyone turned in surprise to see that metal shot stuck in the mad man's neck while Peter simply stood there watching him expressionlessly, watching his nemesis' end right before his eyes.
Gwen fell in despair "Pete.."
Cap. Stacy startled for a sec. "No. No... Why?"
The Symbiont spread over his body then Spiderman closed his eyes standing silently.
"Peter, answer me, why did you do it?" Stacy shouted furiously, but a growl answered back.
An Intimidating tone that made everyone fear him while the Symbiont continued raging with pleasure as it shaped into a big white spider mark onto his Suit.
"PETER PARKRER IS DEAD, from now on, It's Spiderman. Black Spiderman" He jumped up through the hole in the ceiling & swung away from their sight.
Students walked slowly to the dead-like corpse whispering
"Is he dead? Is he really dead?"
"Spiderman killed him... Oh for real. Oh My God"
People began blabbing around as the police began flooding in.
