Chapter 472 - Chapter 472: Crumbled

Harvard immediately made his way around the area, watching the toys give chase. Each one would shoot or throw whatever was on them, not relenting for a second. The Card Magician tries to fire back, letting the lightning quickly catch hold and disintegrate the projectiles that could've struck him down. Unfortunately, that shift in his attention resulted in the Beldam striking across his side, her tail swatting him into a wall, before being gripped by her lizard-like claws for feet at his face and slammed into the table, tossed upwards to the roof so he can be rained down like hell. Even with the mass of bullets and weapons lodged into his body, The boy was able to cast a spell, his form becoming ethereal, as they'd phase through and allow the child to slip his way to the second floor. Once his spell was de-casted, he'd switch up the ammo in Lemegeton, from the Seraphim of Lightning to the Screaming spirit. From Sandalphon to Banshee.

The Beldam would let her Toys change trajectory, shooting from above, blasting down as much ammunition as they could, yet as soon as they tried that, Harvard would only need one shot to disorient everyone. A Piercing screech, a sound that ruptured his eardrums, as well as damaged the objects from below, even breaking apart the Beldam's glass eyes. She had to take matters in her own hands, lunging towards the roof, launching a swift uppercut through it, piercing the wood and stone, striking at Harvard directly. Because of such a screech, Harvard would lose track and merely raise his hands up, wide open for her tight grip, pulling him back downstairs. Criollo would be next to step up, his two axes in tow, watching the Beldam try to skewer Harvard through his eyes. He'd rest himself atop his forehead, parrying the metallic claw. He'd see from the corner of his eyes the toys recovering from such a traumatic sound, prompting Harvard to fire another shot. While he was taking such damage and messing with everyone's senses, Criollo remained unaffected. A smile was on the cookie's face as he'd try to send out his fragrance through the candies: Red and Green. As he tried, however, he would see that there was no nose, nor any sensory features that would allow them to succumb to his illusions.

They don't have any proper senses. They only have directives.

Harvard would set up another spell, watching the projectiles flank around to try and catch him on his sides. He'd also see the Beldam try to grab ahold of the broken wood and use it as a personal javelin in order to pierce through the boy's head. He would allows this, as doing so would let him shift his body enough to evade the side fire, his body light enough to be pushed with relative ease, forcing the Beldam to deal with her own bullets, whilst he'd take in the wood and any projectiles close enough with his hand seal, converting it into the spell to extract Lemegeton's monster, passing it onto Criollo as he'd back himself away. Forced to face the Beldam and her units alone, Criollo wasted no time in trying to use his new gift, letting the beast's body, serpentine in appearance, with a mass of snakes around a faceless head, each snake possessing only a human mouth and a number for how loud it can reach, take over. A deafening screech that was quick on shattering more objects, glass cracking and breaking in the few seconds it remained, the sound disorienting the area. "No smell... but excellent hearing. Her eyes are mere mirrors as well. She's moving through echolocation!" A quick deduction by the Guard, as he'd slip within her body, allowing him to strike her from the inside out, the snakes snatching ahold of the toys, letting her be manipulated and forced to face her own artillery.

To say the Beldam was furious is an understatement, but she would currently not have a proper answer to such a parasitic play. Criollo went to town on each plush, figure, or trinket sentient enough to fight back. Jack in the Boxes tried to slip in the same way, only to be met with an axe to the eye and a cut in their springs. Dolls that unraveled themselves in order to snag him out, only to be met with a direct tail strike using the Beldam's body. Rocking horses that threw themselves to the Beldam's body in an effort to shove the cookie off and potentially crush him when he leaves, only for Criollo to make the Beldam dig her talon-like feet into the ground, using her metallic body to act as a wall to prevent further push from the horses, letting them destroy themselves before her.

Drastic measures had to be taken, with the Beldam curving herself in order to squeeze him from the inside out, snagging at his arm and threatening to break it if necessary for freedom. Criollo would be forced to let go and slip out, trailing across her body, axes in hand. With this freedom, she'd snap her fingers, a demand from the toys to attack while he's open. A direct shot across the area by a few robots, pinning him into a wall, letting him see the state of the House: Half of it being nearly eaten off, with Flourence struggling to keep himself up, his legs bitten off.

She was feasting on them. Had she got more time, she would've consumed everyone within the house. The looming shadow of her army washes over like a tsunami, forcing Criollo to face them all. Despite overwhelming odds, the Guard merely wound up his arms, spun his axes, and approached them calmly. The Beldam could try to influence fear into his heart. To wane him from ever attempting such an aloofness. She knew better however.

He wasn't disregarding her out of ego nor pride. He is a fighter, one who wishes to push his limits if possible.
