Zazel, meanwhile, would be exploring the area as much as possible. He'd keep himself a low profile as he reached the outskirts of the kingdom, resting well far away from the local and into the wilderness. A theory creeped in his mind during that discussion where, if such a figure truly came from those tracks, then the summoner would most likely be at a place where they aren't able to be seen. There was no other way to explain the two trails and the lack of a proper appearance regarding this duplicate. As a result, he'd willingly make himself into a target once more, but now with the knowledge and the potential guarantee to not be hit himself. Once he reached outward, he'd set up Asmodeus and did small sparks, bright enough to catch the eyes of the two siblings, letting them follow along and get into their own position. It was clear that attempting a direct confrontation would only cause more problems, so they would need to take it out stealthily, putting it down before it can notice the issue at hand.
He'd plant Eligos on the ground, the lines quickly forming and stretching outward, camoflauged by the bushes and trees, the 'earth' as a perfect color to hide it. From here, he'd also try to prepare Andrealphus, letting the markings glow and see what kind of use would it have. Upon summoning, a small bird would fly out, its rainbow-like colors glistening in the 'moonlight', a few stars pointed around at its body to indicate a constellation. Confused, Zazel would let it demonstrate by having it rest on one of the branches, seeing it already begin to curve upon perching. Dots and lines were seen, allowing it to be augmented, changing the shape when it makes contact. "Don't think that'll help much... buuuuuuut-" His words lingered until he'd hear it.
A branch snapped near him. Someone's coming.
His eyes traced quickly at the source, yet only darkness remained. Shifts in the land were made, dashes to and fro, until...
SHIKK!!!!
A cleave. The body was split in two, a blade coming down and watching the torso go high. The Knight attacked, an instant-kill against the Demon. Strangely, its eyes widened upon seeing how effortlessly he took his life, his arms pulled back as soon as he'd make the cut. He was holding back, yet such limited effort was somehow more than enough to rip him apart. He examined the blade to see if it was too sharp, to see if it was too strong, before noticing a substance was coated in it. Not of blood, but of Wax. It looked over at the body to see it smile, as the summon of Andrealphus disappeared almost instantly, the branch recoiling back and striking at its shadow-like head. It phases through as if it was mere smoke, but such was enough evidence that the body within had no true structure. When attacking the armor directly, however, was when it recoiled and retched, as the ground was quick to snap up and strike at all sides. His confusion was made even further when he saw who else was hiding in the bushes.
Zazel had planted Beleth to act as his doppelganger to take the blow, while hiding under Bael's veil to prevent himself from detection.
Such skewers were also met by three shots, two of which came from his left side, stars quickly melting in and destroying the structure across his armor. The one on his right, meanwhile, was an arrow, quickly molding it and breaching both sides in its trajectory. The pain was immense, and only one sound was able to come out, as the metal broke open like a jaw and screeched to the 'sky.' "GRYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!" The people immediately screamed and ran upon such a sound, as two were quickly closing in from the top. The Monster tried to flee, but the markings left behind by Eligos would be quick on invading and pulling him down. At first, it was a surefire hit, a chance to catch and intervene on what it wants. Such thoughts dashed away the second Zazel saw how much it wanted to escape, tearing itself apart, leaving its lower body for dead as it flung itself to the forest, with everyone giving chase as a result.
"OVER THERE! NORTHEAST!" Zazel shouted, having Eligos discard the lower half and speed across the terrain. Alas, it wasn't able to find it amidst all the foliage, so the three boys were quick on doing a new plan: Arson. Asmodeus, Flames, and another Star, as all three blasted it down and let the flames go up high. Thanks to the Dome, they didn't need to worry about it spreading out into the rest of the Circle, an actual benefit to such crimes, whilst Solomon prepared Red Sea Ark to flood the area and snuff out the fire before it would even attempt to reach out. In such efforts, they'd finally corner the Knight of Shadows, the metal melting down, the blade still gripped on his gauntlet, as it stared down at the children in defiance. "You got nowhere to run, buddy! You ain't slick for attacking our friend and the many lives here! We'd figure you-"
SHIKK!!!
Another cleave, one that silenced the Demon as soon as he began talking, a cut across his eye and chest, as the blade reached him. The Children were left stunned, with Applin being able to catch up and witness the chaos unfolding, but more than that, how it was able to reach it. Because of the flames giving light, a massive shadow was left behind, one that devoured the blade once it came in contact with it.
It knew two magic Styles, the second one teleporting in and cutting into the Devil's body. His skin began to heal, his mind slowly clearing. "You REALLY gotta learn when to speak up at times like these-" Harvard stated, noticing the pattern of every time he tries to act boisterous, it always comes back to bite him.
"I THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD TIME! 'Scuse me for thinking he was dead to rights!" Zazel retorted, before the children began to hear the creaking of metal. Eustace's magic was forming.
