"Just passing by." Wayne Adams answered succinctly.
Bella Scott chuckled, his words might have been more convincing to a three-year-old.
"Do you want to come in and sit for a while?" Bella Scott asked with a smile.
Wayne Adams was eager and about to accept, but Bella Scott continued, "Or maybe not. It's already quite rare for a busy person like Mr. Adams to pass by our house, isn't it? Where would he find the time to waste?"
After that, she drove into the gate.
Wayne Adams watched as Bella Scott's car disappeared inside the gate, wondering how could there ever be such an unlovable woman in this world. Only Edward Anderson could put up with her.
When Bella Scott entered the living room, she found Cecelia Anderson talking to Kassidy Dean.
The twins were well-behaved, huddled together doing their homework.
"Did you finish your shooting so quickly today?" Bella Scott subtly inquired.
"I didn't go today, I just stayed at home." Cecelia Anderson unsuspectingly replied.
