After speaking with the doctor, Maggie took Mira's phone and called Easton Hernandez.
Easton thought it was Mira calling him, and he answered with a bad tone, "What do you want?"
"Is this how you usually talk to Mira? Easton, she's a patient, can't you be a little more considerate?" Maggie was infuriated by Easton's tone.
"Who are you?" Easton coldly asked.
"I'm Maggie Lauper. I want to talk to you about Mira's illness. She needs people to care for her now. Your indifference will only make her condition worse!" Maggie's voice was ice-cold.
Easton thought Mira had asked Maggie to mediate. He replied in a deep voice, "This is my family matter, there's no need to report to an outsider like you."
