"The Chu and Wen families have been friends for generations, with frequent interactions. Also, considering my deep relationship with Bella, I'm afraid I cannot satisfy your request." Snow Collins gracefully rejects Edward Anderson's proposal.
Edward sneers, "So you still want to get close to Bella?"
While the muddled Bella doesn't see Snow's malicious intentions, Edward sees them clearly.
He's relieved that he married Bella in time, yet still worried. As Snow said, Bella and Snow's relationship is too deep, which makes him feel insecure.
"There's no way to sever my connection with Bella," Snow shrugs, speaking the truth.
Edward confronts Snow, "Don't think I don't know what you're up to! Stop right there. Bella can never have anything to do with you; she's my woman!"
Just then, Bella comes out of the kitchen. Seeing the two men so close, she jokes, "What are you two doing behind my back?"
Edward nonchalantly sits upright and smiles, "Weren't you helping?"
