(Jason's POV)
I opened my eyes to see the sky burning. Nothing but smoke and flames were visible. It was a very unsettling sight. My body felt as if it was glued to the ground, the cold and dry ground that happened to be shaking.
I tried my best to sit up, every fiber of my being fought against the action, it was is my entire body was too exhausted to even move.
I opened my mouth to call for help, there was an uneasy feeling of dread that crept up from beneath me. I never felt anything like it, this dream was more of a nightmare. I knew it was a dream and no matter how badly I wanted to, I couldn't seem to wake up.
"Gahh…." i groaned
My throat was raspy, dry, and burning. I have no idea why this was the case.
I managed to sit up, my entire body aching in pain.
"Did I not tell you of your Fate?" I heard a loud booming voice said
I turned to see a massive winged shadow with dark silver glowing eyes piercing daggers at me. For whatever reason, this figure gave me the chills.
"W-What?" I managed to croak, "What do you mean?"
"Your Fate has been long sealed." The winged shadow said, "Do you not understand?"
I remember now, I had a dream similar to this one back at the War. This same dragon shadow said that I would die at the hands of Acnologia or something like that. Can't recall the specifics.
"I beat Acnologia." I said, "I sealed him. Whatever Fate you're talking about, its undone."
The Shadow scoffed, "You're more foolish than I imagined." It Said, "If you truly believed Acnologia is forever gone, you're truly hopeless."
I managed to get up, my entire body seemingly yearning to lay back down.
"Who are you?" I asked, "What are you? A Dragon?"
"Quite observant." The Shadow said as it took a step forward
I saw as it took a step forward, his entire dragon body revealing itself. It was a massive dark armored dragon. I say armored because that's what it looked like; it looked like his entire body was covered in black and silver armored plating rathet than scales.
The Dragon walked past me, in a sophisticated manner as he emitted an immense and powerful aura. For some reason, its appearance reminded me of something….
"Indeed." He said, "I am a Dragon."
I frowned, "Are you one of those Dragon Gods? The Blazing Black One? The Heavenly Wheel One?" I asked
"No." He said, "I am neither."
"Then who are you? What is this???" I asked
"I am He Who Is Yet To Be." The Dragon said as he looked into the distance, "And this….this is the Future, Jason Darkborne."
"What?" I said, "The Future?!"
"Look around you." The Dragon Said, "What do you see? No need to actually look, I'll tell you; Destruction. Destruction and Ruin is all you can see around you. This is what the future holds, for all of us."
I looked around, seeing nothing but flames and smoke all around me as far as my eyes could possibly make out.
"Is this…what kind of dream is this?!" I said
"The one that is warning you." The Dragon said, "If The Blazing Black One descends, this is what the result will he. Absolute chaos and destruction. Humanity on the brink of extinction as they struggle to fight back and resist agains their oppressors."
"Oppressors?" I said
"My kind." The Dragon looked at me, "Dragons."
"What?" I said, "That's….Imp-"
"Impossible?" The Dragon said, "Well, there's a reason Acnologia was allowed to live. He was the deterrent for the Dragons. It was his overwhelming thirst for Dragon Blood that halted the Blazing Black One's ultimate goal. So The Heavenly Wheel took advantage of that and as long as Acnologia was alive, the seal on the Blazing Black One was set. But…."
"What?" I said
"You killed him." The Dragon continued, "And as a result, the seal was broken and The Blazing Black One descended. And this is the result."
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Acnologia was the key to keeping this world from falling apart? This doesn't make any sense!
"But enough of that. I must tell you something." The Dragon said, "While the Fate of your Death is sealed, there is also something that is an absolute."
I was about to say something when I heard a loud and deafening roar that shook the air and the ground.
"What?!" I said as I covered my ears
"Here he comes." The Dragon said
I looked up to see a massive black winged dragon swoop down from the clouds of smoke and flames.
I widened my eyes in shock as I recognized the dragon, "E-Erion?!" I exclaimed
"The Bringer of Chaos and Destruction." The Dragon said as he launched himself into the sky, "Have you decided to slay me today?!"
I watched as the two dragons collided in midair, Erion sweeping his claws at this unknown dragon as the latter blocked his attacks with his metal wings. All while countering with his sharp sword-tail.
The immense power that I felt from their clashes, seeing the crazy sparks of black light as Erion and this Dragon exchanged blows, it was unbelievable. I couldn't fathom seeing something like this, I had no way of teling this was real or not.
It was a Dream, I was so sure of it. But it felt too real.
"D-Dad?" I heard a feminine voice behind me
I turned around to see a blonde woman wearing a cloak. She was tall and beautiful, something about her seemed alluring. I didn't know what it was, but something about her. I noticed there were two significant scars on her face, one across her cheek and another on her forehead. Her eyes, they were so eerily similar to those of Mavis.
"Huh?" I said, "Did you say Da-"
I was cut off by a massive explosion of black light that erupted behind me. I felt it as it engulfed me completely, vaporizing my entire body. I felt an unbearable pain that shredded through the entirety of my body, every cell inside me was crying.
"Aaaaaghhhh!!!!!" I yelled out
"Jason!!!" I heard a voice wake me up
I opened my eyes to see Anna Heartfilia looking down at me with her brown eyes.
My entire body was aching and sweating, my head felt like someone drove a hammer on it multiple times.
I sat up as Anna held my shoulders gently.
"Uggh…" i groaned, "W-What happened?"
"I came across you, via directions from the Mermaid Heel girl." Anna explained, "Then I saw you lying next to this naked girl convulsing and sweating. Are you alright?"
I turned to see that Heine was lying on her back asleep, the blanket barely covering her waist and her entire upper body exposed. The sight of her pretty and pale breasts soothed my body's pain.
I nodded, "I'm alright." I said, "Thanks."
"Good." She said, "You worried me."
I looked at her, "What brings you here?" I asked, "You were looking for me?"
She nodded, "I was." She said, "There is a problem. With the Ravines of Times."
I frowned, "What is it?" I asked
"Someone or something channeled its power," she said,
"And used it to their benefit."
