Anyone ever thinks the pure human centred fics showcasing a regular albeit tenacious human in a world of magic, aliens, superpowers, gods or all of them together is kinda meh?
It's impressive but equally stupid when the mc doesn't take advantage of everything around him, doesn't aquire the easily available magical knowledge, super serum, tech or spiritual energy and just tries to Batman his way while being surrounded by supernatural or eldritch beings,
The authors try really hard to make us believe the mc is all of that but only manages to showcase his idiocy in such a setting barely scraping by while he could be thriving.

If someone wants to write a Human centred fic where the mc doesn't have some op powers or system but still isn't just a regular ass man,
