"So I have to get stronger on my own," I said, biting my lower lip. My eyes went to the frozen Raiki and thought back to my kids. "But the abyss will be here soon, at least a year's time according to High Priest Leonardo. Would that be enough for me to be able to defeat them?" I asked.
"I know, which is why I told you about Reginald's methods. His methods last years. While you train and prepare your world, he will be setting up his infiltration. You must be wary of people who offer the world but leave a trail of disaster. Reginald actz as a charismatic man, offering solutions to problems, only to cause the problem to fester while he watches with glee."
I sighed. A creeping threat like that would be hard to stop. At least an army is easily spotted and stopped before it can do too much damage.
"But you aren't the only Valkyrie of Light in your era."
I blinked. "There is another?"
She nodded. "You already met her. Yukihina is her name. The Valkyrie of Fate."
