I stared at the back of Hyun-woo's head as we walked. He had medium length white hair and had a toned build. He wore a black shirt and dark pants, and he had a sword strapped to his narrow waist. He looked like a warrior, but also like a scholar. A bit like Noel, actually.
Was this man really my future husband? The stars were vague on that. He was too stubborn, but there was something cute about it. It made me want to tease him more. He was like a prickly cactus that I wanted to hug.
I shook my head. Focus, Ailia. This wasn't a social call. This was a mission.
He stopped in front of a large wooden door and knocked. "Mother, it's me. I brought Eumhun's guest."
The door opened and a woman appeared. She was also a white-haired beauty, but her eyes were red, not blue. She wore a white robe with golden embroidery, and a golden circlet on her head. Her expression was warm, but also serious.
