Flat-Brim Samurai Chapter 117 - A Dimension Hopper
Once they looked at the direction again, they saw a man in his 20s, lean and on the average end of height. His eyes eternally looked like he saw a ghost, with heavy bags that seemed as though he looked through the dictionary 5 times over without stopping. He stared at them and said ,"So this is what an alternate dimension looks like." Apollo stared ,"You're from a different dimension, how?" The man told him ,"Well I just tore the space between the nexus dimension parallel to mine and I suppose that worked as a way to traverse nexi, I suppose" Cias opened his mouth ,"Isn't the fabric between dimensions too strong for anyone to tear normally?" The man squinted his eyes ,"It's not possible for the weak, but those who reach my level of strength and understanding of the universe do not abide by those rules, ki after all manipulates reality based on the intention of the wielder, such as producing flames, although the minimum requirement for that is much lower than tearing between realities. Once you reach my level, wielding the intention to tear space is not all too hard."
Apollo's communicator screamed ,"DAEMON LEVEL THREAT NEAR, FLEE AT ALL COSTS." Apollo looked back at the man (This guy could wipe out the entire universe if he wanted, just like Disdain right before he ascended!). Apollo looked at Cias but Cias had already summoned his Onyx, Apollo then summoned Akarui. Their power exploded, they were much more powerful then before, they even shared some new abilities. Cias summoned his flames and Apollo summoned his water. The man spoke ,"My name is Theo, nice to meet you guys, it will be a pleasure to fight you." In less than a second since he said that Apollo rushed at him, slashing at his side SWOOSH. But the attack never landed, it was as if it was guided off path. The man then shifted his weight and stuck down on him with insane power KABOOOM. The gravity that surrounded him was intense, Cias summoned Art: Flame Spears and pelted hundreds in his direction, the very heat of the flames warped space and time.
But just like Apollo, none of his attacks had worked because Theo just stood there, the spears shifted around his being, using Art: Vector to manipulate the vectors of the Arts. Apollo snarled (How can we hit this bastard?!?). Theo used Art: Space to manipulate his body and moved with incredible speed, Cias barely intercepted the attack, blocking his fist with his spear, but then Cias got kicked and sent light years in an opposing direction. Cias, reeling from the blow, he truly commended his opponent, his power was truly incredible. Anger welled inside of him, expelling the foreign ki that existed within him, then healing the damage with Art: Recovery. His emotions fueled him, and the same could be said for Apollo, his power welled up. At the same time, Cias activated Art: Flame Slayer and Apollo activated Art: Water Slayer. Apollo's Art: Battle Mode which held Memory Amplification, Reinforce, Telekinesis, Wind and Space now included Overdrive to truly push his nervous system to its limits, surpassing any limit that his body put onto him. The effect of the Arts were further improved by the unlocking of his first layer of unification.
Theo smirked ,"You guys are strong, but you need to study a little more, it might help you in battle." Theo disappeared and reappeared next to Apollo using Art: Teleport, he used Ki Blade to wrap around a sharp edge to his hand and he manipulated gravity to accelerate, but right before he could hit him, Apollo deflected the blow. Apollo had absorbed some of the power that Theo exerted on them before, turning it into his own strength TOOOONK. Cias was then right next to them, he then stabbed the man right through WHOOSH. Except that wasn't the case, the man did not bleed, he didn't even react. Visible on him was an Art: Portal that opened on the side of his body, the attack couldn't do anything, he then closed the portal, cutting Cias's blade in two. Cias felt that a part of his essence had torn. Cias glared on with wide eyes, he never expected his spear to be broken that easily. The man then grabbed the opposite side of the spear with Art: Telikinesis and accelerated it with Art: Gravity and stabbed Cias right back in return, but Cias used the rest of his handle to deflect it, still stabbing deep into his shoulder STIIIIK. Apollo and Cias were trying to read the waves of his ki so that they could copy his skills but the Arts were simply too complex to read at first glance, if they could just survive a few more minutes.
