Ashton Heath was half doubtful: "If she gets an anesthetic shot, will giving birth really not hurt?"
Denver Lancaster: "Of course it's true, otherwise it wouldn't be called painless childbirth. But there may be a few who don't respond well to anesthetics, and they'll still feel pain even after getting a shot. Okay, stop worrying, if you really can't put your mind at ease, why don't you go in and see for yourself?"
"Never mind, Joanna said she didn't want me to be there when she gave birth." Ashton glanced at the tightly closed door of the delivery room and then walked to the side and sat down. "I'll just wait for her outside."
"I'll keep you company." Denver sat down next to Ashton.
