Chapter 862 - Chapter 862 : Why Don't I Go Home With You Tonight?

Little Jingshi sweetly smiled, "Don't worry, Dad's on a business trip. Tomorrow's Saturday, so I'm not in a rush to do homework."

Jiang Lulian: "…"

Jiang Lulian reminded Little Jingshi, who then seized Ming Yutong's hand, "Tong Tong, why don't I go home with you tonight?"

Before Ming Yutong could respond, Little Jingshi pouted, looking pitiful, "Dad's away, and I'm all alone at home. It's so scary in such a big house, especially at night when it's all dark. I get scared passing by other rooms."

Lowering his face even more, Little Jingshi continued with a tone of grievance, "Dad's always busy and not at home. He leaves me alone, and it's so lonely and frightening."

The Alpha Guards: "…"

Young Master, where did you place Aunt Huo?

Little Jingshi raised his teary eyes, holding Ming Yutong's hand tightly, and pleaded, "Tong Tong, please?"

Ming Yutong was delighted but knew the two guards would report this to Fu Yinxiu.

However, Fu Yinxiu wasn't around at the moment.

Ming Yutong nodded, "Okay."

"Then I'll call Auntie Huo," Little Jingshi suggested.

"Auntie Huo?" Ming Yutong asked curiously.

"Yeah, she's the aunt who takes care of me at home," Little Jingshi explained.

"…" Jiang Lulian looked at him incredulously, "But didn't you say you're the only one at home?"

Little Jingshi froze, lips pursed high, and clung to Ming Yutong's arm.

This rival was too much!

Ming Yutong rubbed Little Jingshi's head and said, "You shouldn't lie."

Dejected, Little Jingshi murmured, "Sorry, I just wanted to go home with Tong Tong."

"Even if you didn't lie, I would still agree," Ming Yutong said softly, "Because I like Little Jingshi so much."

Little Jingshi grinned widely, holding Ming Yutong's hand with both of his, "Tong Tong, I won't lie anymore."

"Yeah, Little Jingshi is the best," Ming Yutong praised.

The Alpha Guards: "…"

They had never seen Young Master being so spoiled.

"You should call Aunt Huo and let her know," Ming Yutong reminded.

Little Jingshi nodded and immediately took out his phone to call Aunt Huo.

"Auntie Huo, I'm staying at Tong Tong's house tonight," Little Jingshi said.

Auntie Huo had texted him last night and knew about Tong Tong.

However, Aunt Huo thought Tong Tong was Little Jingshi's classmate.

"Oh, don't trouble others," Auntie Huo said.

"It's fine. Tong Tong really likes me and warmly invited me over," Little Jingshi said proudly, puffing up his chest.

Alpha Guards: "…"

Not really.

"Alright," Aunt Huo continued, "Are the Alpha Guards with you?"

"Yeah, they're with me," Little Jingshi said, handing the phone to one of the guards. "Say a few words to Aunt Huo to reassure her."

He reluctantly took the phone and reassured Aunt Huo, "We'll take good care of Young Master. If he doesn't come home, we won't rest easy."

After promising Aunt Huo, he returned the phone to Little Jingshi.

Little Jingshi listened to Aunt Huo's advice for a few more moments before hanging up.

Jiang Lulian had already paid the bill.

Maintaining his manners, he settled the bills for the guards as well.

Jiang Lulian couldn't help but feel his smile stiffen as he glanced at Little Jingshi. It wasn't about the money. It was the feeling of being outsmarted by this small kid that was frustrating.

Fortunately, Ming Yutong hadn't driven here with him. "Yutong didn't drive here either. Let me take you both home," he offered with a smile.

Little Jingshi frowned inwardly, thinking, why did he call her so intimately?

He gestured to the Alpha Guards, "No need, they can take us. We drove here too."

"Yeah, no need to go out of your way," Ming Yutong added.

Little Jingshi was delighted to hear that.

It meant, in Tong Tong's eyes, he was more important.

Jiang Lulian also smiled wryly. "Alright then, but I've made plans with a lady, and not being able to drive her home makes me feel lacking in manners."

Little Jingshi suddenly widened his eyes. "Uncle, do you often go out with girls?"

"…" Jiang Lulian really wanted to know whose kid was so sharp. "Not really, but I've always been taught to be a gentleman."

Little Jingshi pouted and didn't say anything.

In the end, Ming Yutong had the guards take them home.

Since Little Jingshi decided at the last minute to stay at Ming Yutong's, he hadn't brought anything to spend the night with.

On the way, one of the guards asked if they should stop by Langyuan to get overnight necessities.

Even though Fu Yinxiu wasn't at the house, Ming Yutong didn't want to go there.

She looked at Little Jingshi and said, "Let's buy new ones at the mall."

Little Jingshi looked at Ming Yutong in surprise.

Ming Yutong also wanted to buy Little Jingshi something. Whether it was clothes or shoes, she wanted to buy them for him.

"It's perfect. We'll get everything we need and leave it at home. You can come over anytime, and there'll be things for you," Ming Yutong said.

Little Jingshi was so happy that Ming Yutong wanted him to come over occasionally. She must really like him.

Little Jingshi immediately nodded vigorously and turned towards the mall halfway there.

At this time of night, the mall was especially crowded.

It was Friday today, so the mall was especially lively.

The guards were protective of them like they were facing a great enemy. Ming Yutong led Little Jingshi to buy pajamas and several new outfits.
