Chapter 962 - Chapter 962 : He Was Finally Experiencing The Frustration Ming Yutong Must Have Felt

Ming Jingshan might have been the only one who could believe this unexpected situation.

"Mr. Fu, would you like to come up to my office for some tea? I'll have Yutong come up to apologize in person," Ming Jingshan offered with a smile.

"No, that's not necessary," Fu Yinxiu replied courteously. "Since I'm here to apologize to President. Ming, I believe it's more sincere to go to her directly. If I were to wait for President Ming to come to me, it would seem like I'm just putting on a show."

Ming Jingshan understood Fu Yinxiu's stance. His polite gesture was more of a formality.

Since Fu Yinxiu was showing such an attitude, Ming Jingshan didn't need to press further. This would mean Ming Yutong was now in a difficult position.

Ming Jingshan pressed the button for Ming Yutong's floor.

Moments later, the elevator arrived. Ming Jingshan and Fu Yinxiu exited and were led to Ming Yutong's office by Ming Jingshan.

Yang Minglang, seeing them, immediately approached. "Mr. Ming."

Then he noticed Fu Yinxiu standing beside Ming Jingshan.

Yang Minglang's forehead tensed up. He had a bad feeling about Fu Yinxiu's visit. Every time Fu Yinxiu came to see Ming Yutong, it never ended well.

He didn't understand why a powerful figure like Fu Yinxiu would spend his time harassing a woman. It seemed beneath him.

So, when Fu Yinxiu arrived, Yang Minglang had his reservations.

He greeted Fu Yinxiu with a complicated expression, "Mr. Fu."

"Is Yutong in?" Ming Jingshan asked.

Yang Minglang nodded. "Yes, she's here."

He knocked on the door.

"Come in," Ming Yutong's voice called from inside, not very loud.

Yang Minglang opened the door, revealing Ming Yutong engrossed in her paperwork.

"Why—" Ming Yutong looked up, her words catching in her throat.

Yang Minglang then said, "President Ming, Mr. Ming and Mr. Fu are here."

Ming Yutong nodded, acknowledging their presence.

She hadn't anticipated that Fu Yinxiu would approach Ming Jingshan!

She had hoped that by avoiding him, he would leave, but he had gone directly to Ming Jingshan to have him bring her the message.

How did he not realize that his actions would only annoy her more?

Yang Minglang stepped back, leaving Ming Jingshan and Fu Yinxiu to enter the office.

Ming Jingshan closed the door behind him and feigned displeasure as he said to Ming Yutong, "How could you leave Mr. Fu waiting downstairs? If I hadn't run into him, would you have let him wait all day?"

Ming Yutong was taken aback, looking at Fu Yinxiu with confusion.

She had thought Fu Yinxiu had sought out Ming Jingshan to gain entry to her office, but it seemed he had gone straight to Ming Jingshan.

Ming Jingshan's unexpected departure and his words left Ming Yutong feeling increasingly confused.

"Why are you so stubborn and lacking in manners? How can I commend you like this?" Ming Jingshan continued.

Ming Yutong was more baffled than ever. What had Fu Yinxiu told Ming Jingshan?

Did he share their past issues with Ming Jingshan?

Ming Yutong could not comprehend why Ming Jingshan would speak of her being ill-tempered.

"Alright, you two take your time to talk. I'm leaving now," Ming Jingshan said, giving a final piece of advice to Ming Yutong. "Speak properly and don't act out."

Ming Yutong was left in stunned silence. What was Ming Jingshan talking about?

As Ming Jingshan left, Ming Yutong was left alone with Fu Yinxiu in her office.

Her expression grew colder. Fu Yinxiu quickly began to explain, "I was just waiting downstairs, planning to see you when you came down. I didn't expect to run into your father."

Ming Yutong sneered coldly, "You knew very well who you are. As the president of 'Xiuqi,' how could my father ignore you waiting downstairs? You were forcing me to meet you."

"I didn't—" Fu Yinxiu tried to defend himself, but Ming Yutong's disbelief made it hard for him to get his point across.

He lowered his shoulders in defeat. He was finally experiencing the frustration Ming Yutong must have felt when he refused to believe her side of the story and only judged her harshly.

Back then, he had not just hurt her with words but had been far more aggressive, a stark contrast to the minor discomfort he was feeling now. The comparison made him realize just how much he had wronged her.

"I'm sorry," Fu Yinxiu said quietly, his voice barely above a whisper. He looked up at her with sincere eyes. "Yutong, I truly... I never intended to cause you any trouble."

"You didn't just not intend to. You simply didn't care," Ming Yutong inhaled deeply, her frustration apparent. "Fu Yinxiu, you've never changed."

"From the past to now, you've never changed. You never consider things from my perspective. You only think about yourself. You believe that I should meet you regardless of whether I want to or not. You wait there, making me uncomfortable."

"You think I should forgive you regardless of what I say, and you'll only accept a result that satisfies you, without caring about how I feel or whether I'm willing."

"I ...", Fu Yinxiu's voice faltered.

He wanted to refute, but he couldn't find the right words to explain.

"You want to say otherwise? I suggest you think carefully about whether that's true! Every action you've taken, from the past to now, has been like this!" Ming Yutong's voice grew louder, her agitation evident.
