"Welcome back, honey. How was your date with Houqin?"
As Leyan opened the front door, she immediately noticed the tired look on her husband's face as he fell onto the sofa.
"It went pretty well. We got everything done as planned, and she's going to be the one planning for our next date."
Xiaoyun paused for a second as he looked over to the clock, only to see that it was already eight o'clock.
"Where is everyone? Where did everyone go?"
"Out in the backyard for a walk with the babies... We all just finished eating dinner a few minutes ago."
As the living room fell into silence, Leyan couldn't help but notice the look on his face. It was odd to zone out as he stared towards the ceiling.
"Honey, are you okay?"
"I'm fine... Leyan, can you wake me up when Kate and Anna come back from work? I have an important announcement to make."
"Okay."
Watching him close his eyes and take a nap, Leyan slowly grabbed a blanket before putting it over him.
