Yvette Harris pinched his face and teased, "Jonas, I seem to be falling for you more and more."
"Then let's get married," Jonas casually suggested with a smile.
Yvette was taken aback, clearly not expecting such a proposal from Jonas. After a moment, she asked slowly, "Aren't we fine as we are?"
"I just want to be with you forever," he said casually.
"We can still be together forever even if we don't get married."
"I don't feel secure."
After saying that, Jonas went back to cooking. His father was a chef, so he himself was highly skilled in the kitchen. More and more men these days seemed like they couldn't look after themselves. A good-looking, mature, and stable man like Jonas was indeed rare.
"Are you afraid I'll leave you?" Yvette laughed.
"Yes, I don't feel secure."
"I promise I won't leave you. I'm still falling for you, so how could I ever abandon you?"
Yvette's hand moved towards his chest. Jonas stiffened and stopped her. "Let's eat first."
