Sienna Johnson didn't want to move. She snuggled under the covers, dismissing him, "I'm already exhausted and don't want to budge. Go eat by yourself."
"Don't want to move? It's not a short walk from our bedroom to here. I thought you quite liked exercising. I took a shower early this morning, and you were already gone," Adrian Desmond said sarcastically.
"That's why. I overdid the exercise, so now I don't want to move," she said, her words carrying a double meaning.
Sienna pulled the blanket over her head, playing ostrich again. It seemed his efforts to please her last night hadn't appeased her anger; she was still blaming him.
He walked over, sat on the edge of the bed, and placed his hand on a prominent lump under the blanket, assuming it was Sienna's head.
Then he heard Sienna exclaim, "Don't touch my butt!"
Adrian Desmond was speechless.
