"Adivaris?" Kamily looked at him sternly. "Are you waiting for someone?"
"Yes, Queen! Selestra will come to me now."
"How lovely!" - She exclaimed, smiling cheerfully. - "Are you having an offer?"
"No! We just met…"
She came closer and extended her hand to him. He was amazed the magical power emanating from her.
"I am Kamily! We haven't met, have we?"
"I admire you, Goddess," - Adivaris bowed his head and kissed her hand.
She looked at him with obvious surprise.
"Did you call me Goddess, Xantarian? Unheard of! Who do you remind me of? What interesting energy you have! Come to me, Irresistible, let's chat. I have a free evening tomorrow."
He didn't even have time to answer her before she disappeared, leaving him quite shocked that the Queen herself had asked him on a date. He knew very well that she was Rohen's wife: the situation seemed unpleasant that Goddess turned her royal gaze on him. It's good if she just wants to talk to him and nothing more. He did not want to tempt fate and incur the wrath and jealousy of the almighty Rohen.
Selestra came out with the child and saw the wary expression on Adivaris's face.
"Why are you so scared?" She grinned.
"I'm shocked! The Queen unexpectedly invited me on a date. There are rumors about her that she can barely tolerate men."
"That's right, she doesn't tolerate Xantarians also. She probably wants to annoy Lariel and flirt with you. So go, nothing bad will happen."
"But I don't need such issues. I don't want to be kicked out of Ornalion."
"Don't be scared, Lariel won't mind. And don't be afraid of her either! We are the same age, she is only twenty-four years old."
"What? I thought she was at least five hundred, since she is Goddess. We also had women of this rank before."

It was getting dark when Adivaris approached the palace, expecting an appointment, slightly nervous. Kamily soon peered out from behind the massive door and beckoned him to follow her.
The palace was stunning in its chic: multi-colored sparks played in the narrow lancet crystal windows from floor to ceiling, reflected on the shiny beige marble floors; enfilades with many tastefully decorated rooms diverged on both sides of the spacious hall, in one of which the guest and the Queen sat on an elegant sofa.
"Very beautiful furnishings," Adivaris praised the decoration, looking around in admiration. "You don't see that much on Xantari."
"Thank you! Lariel and I created all this, or rather, he taught me how to make it this way."
"And I, as a military man, am used to a more modest interior. Palace luxury is characteristic of princesses and queens."
Adivaris admired the charming mistress of the house: her blue eyes softly sparkled with silver sparks and a barely noticeable smile slid across her beautiful face. An elegant dress in blue tones glittered from the glow of lavender magic lanterns.
"I know your story about the kidnapping, and I don't really understand why Rohen brought you to us. He often acts inexplicably."
"I don't know why he took pity on me and brought me to such a beautiful world full of immortal women. My dream undeservedly came true. In fact, I loved this girl and was waiting for her to reciprocate my feelings. But everything was useless, she stubbornly dreamed of her fiance. Now I am ashamed of my countless abductions."
"How similar is my story to what you tell? I was once also taken against my will to the heavenly city. I fell in love with another warrior - Erin, who now rules Azaren, I was offended to live as a prisoner in a golden cage, and I did not at all appreciate Lariel's care."
"Did Lariel kidnap you?" Adivaris was surprised. "But you are still with him."
"Yes, I forgave him. It also happens. Perhaps you too would wait for gratitude. You have such a pleasant charming energy, women cannot resist you."
Kamily looked piercingly into his eyes.
"You charmed the Goddess of Freedom, who's next?"
Adivaris pretended that he did not understand the hint.
"I don't have any plans about this. Everything happens spontaneously. I confessed my love to Avilena, not hoping for consent, but she did not refuse. But you don't blame me for this, do you? Royals are more attractive than blackwinged girls."
"You feel their energies, right? Can you feel mine?"
The Queen moved closer and took his hand.
"Did you dream about me?"
