"Did you leave to bring me food from home?" Victoria Gibson's nose tingled, feeling emotional.
Even though he just told her not to rely on him, when she saw the steaming dishes before her, her cold heart felt as if it was being warmed bit by bit by someone holding it in their hands.
This version of Chad Yakov seemed to have found her weakness; every action made it impossible for her to resist.
"I stopped by the Company on my way home. The issue with the firewall being attacked yesterday hasn't been resolved yet." Chad Yakov's thin lips slightly parted. Without saying more, he looked deeply at her and then brought the food to her mouth.
"My arm is much better now; I can feed myself." Victoria Gibson just wanted his opinion, but as soon as she finished speaking, Chad Yakov handed her the tableware.
She paused for a moment, then took the spoon and quietly started to eat.
Worried that her emotions might get out of control, she ate quickly.
