It wasn't until a few minutes later that Riley Sully finally snapped back to reality. Seemingly embarrassed by her momentary distraction, her cheeks flushed with heat. Hastily, she picked up the documents on the table to flip through them, feeling a strange discomfort in her chest.
Watching her bow her head, Shane Winchester also withdrew his gaze, turned around, and poured a cup of water, placing it in front of her and saying, "No rush, take your time."
"Okay... thank you..."
Riley Sully quietly glanced up. The water cup was placed steadily in front of her on the table by the man.
She intended to look away, but her gaze was involuntarily drawn back to the red string around his wrist. The color of the string was bright, with a marriage knot attached to it. It was something a bit feminine, but it looked particularly good on his hand, making people unable to resist looking at it twice.
