Riley Sully fastened her seat belt and said, "I'm usually not that busy. If there's a large floral art design or venue layout, I'll find someone to help. Besides, I'm pretty flexible with opening and closing the shop, so there's no need to hire more people."
Shane Winchester didn't respond to her, but he was determined to hire a skillful shop assistant to help look after things later on.
The car sped along the road, and Riley gazed outside for a while, unable to determine which way they were headed. Curiously, she asked, "Where are we going? Why the rush?"
"You'll know when we get there." Shane kept his eyes on the road.
Riley glanced at his profile, dissatisfied, "Why is it so mysterious?"
Shane still didn't respond. Seeing that he had no intention of telling her, she chose not to ask further. Her curiosity wasn't that strong, after all.
The car sped smoothly, yet it was just past noon, and Riley, leaning against the backrest, soon began to nod off.
