Annie Taylor just walked out, and Ronald Loman said to Lucas: "It's settled then. Daddy will take you to the troops for two days; there, it'll be real guns and bullets, don't embarrass your forefather!"
"Okay, Uncle Loman!" Lucas' eyes were sparkling as he replied crisply.
Ronald couldn't help but give him a smack on the head: "Your mom's not here, why call me Uncle Loman? Call me Dad!"
Lucas stared at him with wide eyes, refusing to speak.
Ronald grew a bit anxious: "Call me Dad, and I'll let you drive the tank."
A strong yearning appeared in Lucas' eyes, but he ultimately lowered his head and continued fiddling with his water gun, insisting, "I want to drive the tank!"
"Sure, call me Forefather and you'll get to drive it."
Lucas sniffed and refused to change his address, silently looking at Ronald after a few seconds: "If you don't let me drive the tank, I'll tell Miss Taylor you hit me!"
"Hey~ you little rascal! Your mom's not here now. Do you believe I'll smack you!"
