Chapter 10 - The path to the void

Half a year passed in relentless training.

By now, Shen Tian had grown taller than most adults. His body looked like that of a seasoned young cultivator, and his aura—when not hidden—could shatter the courage of beasts at a glance. Although only eleven, cultivation had shaped his physique into early adulthood.

His Golden Core had reached its peak.

But Shen Tian wasn't satisfied.

He had begun sensing the next realm—not vaguely, but clearly. The System guided him subtly, offering small hints through tasks and impulses. His instincts aligned perfectly with the path forward.

And then, one night, as he meditated quietly beneath the moon, the System spoke with a chime that resonated inside his soul.

"Host conditions met."

"Automatic System Evolution initiated."

Shen Tian's eyes snapped open.

Qi rushed around him in spiraling torrents. His Golden Core spun rapidly, drawing in energy from the air, from nature, even from faint lines of the earth itself. His mind expanded, his senses sharpened, and his dantian trembled.

The advancement came like a tidal wave.

BOOM.

His Golden Core shattered—only to reform instantly into a swirling vortex of void-like energy.

The Void Fragmentation Realm.

A realm of impossible combat strength.

A realm where qi and space intertwined.

A realm where geniuses began leaving their mark on the continent.

Shen Tian exhaled slowly.

His strength skyrocketed. His perception expanded until he could sense the entire forest, the distant mountains, even faint flickers of life miles away.

He stood, feeling the earth differently beneath his feet.

And then—

"System Evolution complete."

A new screen appeared.

[DESCENDANT CULTIVATION FEEDBACK SYSTEM UNLOCKED]

Bloodline connections flickered faintly inside his soul.

Shen Tian froze.

He didn't understand it fully yet.

But he knew one thing—

This system was tied to his past.

To his family.

To the home he once had.

And for the first time…

He felt the faint tug of destiny pulling him toward a distant empire he could not yet remember.
