"You think everyone else is an idiot, that whatever you say goes? Stop treating everyone like fools." He supported himself with his arms and slowly crawled up from the ground. As he moved, a pool of blood trickled down his body and dripped onto the floor, a chilling sight.
"This is the place where Dad died, isn't it?" He glanced around. The villa was large, spacious, and very clean. It was evident the decor was from a long time ago, yet there was a warmth permeating every corner.
One could imagine with what kind of mood the two people who once lived here decorated the home.
Mrs. Shaw's expression changed slightly upon hearing these words.
"I've always been curious about why Dad's lover killed him, and where she went after the murder," Philip Shaw staggered to his mother's side, his pale eyes fixed on her. "Today, I've finally figured it out."
"What have you figured out?"
"I've figured out why Dad died."
"Oh?" Mrs. Shaw curled her lips into a faint smile. "Do tell?"
