Aldana Candi lifted her eyes and studied him for a moment. His face was still the same, but his expression had changed, altering his aura. The wildness and aloofness honed within the Shaw Family had dissipated from Philip Shaw; as he sat there, with his eyes lowered, he appeared clean and unassuming, no longer exuding that intimidating pressure that made people want to kneel before him.
Now, he even seemed a bit innocent.
Aldana Candi chuckled quietly to herself, pondering whether, if this man eventually regained his memory and recalled his current pitiful state, he would feel compelled to silence her permanently.
She slowly turned her body to give him some space on the bed. As she relaxed, the previously tense muscles in her legs were gently pulled, making her wince in pain and let out a sharp gasp.
