After James Black started the car, he realized there were reporters following behind, but he easily shook them off.
He drove to a place without many people and then parked the car by the roadside.
Jane Sampson sat in the co-pilot seat, still sobbing, with tears ceaselessly streaming down.
There was already a pool of tear stains on the skirt hem of her formal dress.
James Black unbuckled both of their seatbelts, got out of the car, opened the co-pilot door, reached out, pulled Jane Sampson into his arms.
"Don't cry." he said softly.
Originally, her sobbing had subsided a bit, but with his comfort, Jane's sobbing became slightly more intense instead.
James Black was quite troubled but also more heartbroken.
"No crying." He wiped the tears from her face with his hand, "I'm here."
