"Just walking, and I'm about to die from anger. Sooner or later, you're going to drive me to my grave!" Jane Sampson muttered all the way as she walked, without giving James Black a break. "Can't you make some concessions? Can't you be a little nicer to me? Do you know how hard it was for me to get here? What if I get sick from being mad at you? Are you going to fix me?"
She spoke in short bursts, nodding her head forcefully with each sentence.
From the back, she looked like a teacher lecturing a guilty student.
Old Master Black followed behind, amused by the scene.
"Isn't it? I told you all, in the end, James Black would be carrying Jane the girl and taking the right path. I know that kid's temper too well. The more he denies her, the more Jane will stubbornly oppose him, even provoking the rebel in him." Old Master Black watched the commotion with delight.
