Jane Sampson entered the kitchen still guessing, "Are you getting me a bag?"
"If you want it, we can go to the shopping mall and buy one," James Black said indulgently, "Before returning to the guard team, shall we also swing by the supermarket to get some small cookies?"
Jane Sampson immediately broke into a smile, glancing at James Black like a little fox, sneakingly asking, "Forget the bag, can I exchange it for more snacks?"
Facing James Black's gaze, Jane Sampson rubbed her little hand without waiting for James to speak, and then continued the conversation on his behalf.
"You wish."
This sentence was entirely in James Black's tone, even mimicking his expression.
Her beautiful eyebrows raised slightly, her face plainly saying, "Am I dreaming or what?"
It amused James Black so much he couldn't help but reach out and pinch her little nose, "As long as you understand."
