"He's so fickle. Sometimes he says he likes sons because raising sons is less of a hassle. Then a moment later, he says he likes daughters because daughters are little treasures. But I think, deep down, he prefers daughters," Jane Sampson said. "If it's really a daughter, James will definitely want to name the baby himself."
"Makes sense," Old Master Black sighed, still not giving up. "When James comes back, show him this notebook and let him pick. Who knows, maybe he'll get an idea."
"Grandfather, I'll back you up. If he doesn't listen to us, then I just won't talk to him anymore," Jane grinned mischievously. "How's that for a plan?"
"You?" Brooke Black tapped Jane Sampson on the head lightly. "James can win you over with just one candy. Depending on you? No hope."
"Auntie, that's not fair! Just one candy? I'm not that easy to please. James says I'm tough to win over, so he's especially afraid of me being upset," Jane proudly retorted. "Auntie, you underestimate me."
