Bright Sampton grimaced and then took the key from James Black's hand. After finding out from James the location where he placed the car key, Bright Sampton left with the lawyer.
After seeing off Bright Sampton and the lawyer, Jane Sampson returned to sit next to the sofa, taking a deep breath.
"Today, we really owe Julie Sampton for calling in time to subdue Bright Sampton, otherwise we really couldn't have persuaded him." Jane Sampson sighed.
"Because you're mindful of Bright Sampton's feelings, Julie Sampton dared to say the harsh words that you couldn't." James Black gently pinched Jane Sampson's face. Ever since Jane's face had grown a little fleshier, James found Jane's face delightful to pinch.
However, he only gave a light touch, not willing to actually cause Jane pain, but every time he saw her getting puffed up with anger, James found it amusing.
