A loud smack echoed, making anyone who heard it feel the pain.
Two salespeople who were friendly with her hurried to help her up, asking worriedly, "Violet, are you okay? Do you need to go to the hospital?"
The saleswoman, with a complexion white from the pain in her ankle, sat down on the sofa and shook her head. "I'm fine, I don't need to. I just need a bit of rest."
