Renee Anderson stepped forward just in time to say, "Adam, I didn't ask anyone to take responsibility. I know you were with me only because you were drunk. You don't need to feel troubled, and I don't want to make things difficult for you."
Baron Lawrence glanced at her coolly, ignored her, and directly told Adam Sinclair, "You better think carefully, don't hesitate once you've decided."
Adam Sinclair thought a lot in a short time. He still didn't believe he had been with Renee Anderson. Although he was very groggy at the time, he clearly remembered that before he completely lost consciousness, he was on guard and resisted Renee getting close.
Logically, in such a situation, nothing much could happen.
But the doctor was found by Baron Lawrence, someone Renee could not possibly bribe. There must be something fishy going on, and until that is clarified, he couldn't confidently say he hadn't touched Renee.
