"Let me help too, three people can get it done faster." Enna Clark rolled up her sleeves without an ounce of pretense.
Joanne Harrison quickly led her back to the living room sofa, pressing her to sit down, and said helplessly, "Young Madam, you just rest here, leave the vegetable picking to me. I'll call you once I'm done, I promise I'll finish as quickly as possible."
Enna Clark felt a bit embarrassed by her actions and hurriedly explained, "That's not what I meant..."
Joanne Harrison smiled brightly, chuckling, "I know. Young Madam just wants to help us out, but since you're pregnant now, both Mr. Harris and I hope you'll take more rest. Otherwise, we'd be worried about you."
"Alright then." Enna Clark couldn't refuse her, so she gave up.
Joanne Harrison sighed in relief and went into the kitchen.
