Leah Rivers was genuinely about to cry, her eyes flushed red, even more unwilling to admit fault, "I won't! Why should I apologize? She claims I hired someone to rob her, does she have any evidence? Show me the evidence then, I'll just go to jail!"
President Rivers was trembling with anger, raised his hand, and slapped her across the face. The slap was crisp and resonant, and he loudly scolded, "I told you to apologize! Don't understand human language?!"
Leah Rivers covered her face with one hand, stunned by the slap, completely in disbelief, "Dad?"
The middle-aged man looked away, not even glancing at her, forcibly pulled her in front of Olivia Lewis, "Whether you did it or not, whatever you did, I'll ask you later. Now apologize, properly apologize to Ms. Lewis! Otherwise, you won't be using your credit card from this month on!"
