Hearing the angry shouts just outside the door, Du Heng shivered.
Before he could react, the yelling escalated into a heated argument between two people.
"You still say you're not sick? Just look at yourself. Don't you look like you have a mental illness?" an impatient male voice suddenly exclaimed from the door. "You're causing a scene, getting angry for no reason, and you've scared the child so much these past few months that he tiptoes everywhere!"
"That's because he did something wrong," the woman retorted firmly, countering the man's accusation. "If he hadn't done anything wrong, would I get angry? Let go of me, do you hear?"
Hearing the high-pitched quarrel at the door, Du Heng frowned slightly and rose to walk toward the entrance. Such a commotion was severely disrupting the hospital's normal order.
BANG.
As Du Heng reached the door, he heard a muffled sound, and simultaneously, a flying shadow brushed past his nose.
