Thomas Shannon's brows furrowed imperceptibly, "What did she tell you?"
"Everything she should've said, and even things she shouldn't have. Now, do you want to keep deceiving me, or will you tell me the truth?"
Sophie Sullivan's voice was tinged with anger.
"Tell me, what did Raina Bell tell you?"
First Lillian Spencer, now Raina Bell, neither of them gave him any peace!
The commanding tone of Thomas Shannon made Sophie Sullivan feel a wave of disgust. She leaned back on the chair, looked at him, "Raina Bell told me you've already gotten engaged, that you have a fiancée. That fiancée bears some resemblance to Raina Bell, and because of Raina's appearance, you treat her with special favor. She said you took her on missions and the people she accompanied were all top-notch in looks and build, unlike other female slaves who had to accompany grumpy old men."
With each sentence Sophie Sullivan uttered, Thomas Shannon's face grew darker. Did Raina Bell really say that?
