"Yes, Father." Kerl took both his bowl and Rizz's, leaving the table as if seeking a breath of fresh air.
Gillee couldn't help but blink. "That… is quite the story."
"I told you. Believe it or not, that's how it happened." Rizz folded his arms and leaned back. "I've never met any other goblins. But I know what I am deep down. That's for certain.
"Besides. Did you expect my story to be normal? You said it yourself. You've never seen goblins before, and one magically appeared out of nowhere. Literally!" Nodding sharply, Rizz closed his eyes and raised a finger to the sky. "If anything, you'd be more suspicious if my story was ordinary.
"I may have been a simple summon, but I'm still a living, breathing goblin. I will forever treasure my life. I'll do everything in my power to keep on living. I won't let a simple prison cell keep me locked up for no good reason!"
