Knowing exactly what Idore could do, and having desperately fought him for quite some time before Raze had finally arrived... in a way, maybe that grueling delay was actually a vital part of Idore's ultimate downfall. Idore's arrogance in playing with his food had given everyone on the Crimson Crane enough precious time to figure out a tactical way to actually help Raze.
Which, in turn, allowed them to flawlessly hand him the exact right weapons at the exact right time.
