Serlina, on the other hand, is amazed by the design and how luxurious the dining hall is.
"I don't know what food you'll like, so I made the butler tell the cook to prepare food as if there's a banquet."
In Serlina's mind, it's too much, but she likes all the food at the table and can't help but feast her eyes.
Aizen stands up and assists her to sit like a gentleman.
"Thank you, but I can sit on my own."
Serlina said with a bit of contempt.
Aizen smiles and goes back to his seat.
As they begin to eat, Aizen looks at Serlina with amazement because of her cute expression as she tastes the food.
'Everything is so delicious; if only my stomach could handle all of this food.'
Serlina notices that Aizen is just looking at her.
"Ohh.. I'm sorry for my rudeness; I'm just hungry. I think I haven't eaten anything at the Banquet."
"You don't need to apologize; I'm just glad that you enjoy eating."
After they ate, they went to the living room to talk.
"Do you want to go back home?" Aizen asks.
Serlina is scared to go back home; she knows for sure that her brother will control him, and she'll never be able to get out again. If she can't go out, she can't handle their business.
"No, I have a business to handle, and also I'm going out to visit the production of the furniture and visit Count James."
"You're welcome to stay here as much as you like. You can also tell me everything you'll need. I can assure your brother that you're safe with me."
'So the reason why he's very accommodating is because of my brother.'
"Also, I want to clarify to you that I don't have any prior relationship with Abigail; I'm not even--"
"I don't care if you don't or if you have any prior relationship with her; I'm here so I can handle my family's business. You don't have to explain yourself to me; your personal life has nothing to do with me, so I prefer to leave it at that."
Serlina doesn't believe him because of the rumors between Aizen and Abigail, so for her, he's telling lies.
"Alright then, if you're ready to go, I'll accompany you on your errands."
"What? You don't have to do that. Maybe you have plans on your own."
"I don't have any prior commitments. I am free all day, but I'll go to your mansion at night to speak with your brother."
The truth is, Aizen canceled all of his scheduled plans to accompany Serlina.
'Perhaps, it's for the better since Aizen has more experience and knowledge than me when it comes to business in this world.'
"Alright, if you insist, let's go now."
Serlina is in shock when she sees the entrance of the manor, which is full of flowers and huge greenery. She can hear the birds chirping; it's like a dream come true for her because it's what she always wanted.
"Wow... this manor is too extravagant"
"Do you like it? It's for someone special to me. I've been waiting for that person to see this place, but I never had a chance because she's too far away."
"Is it Abigail?"
She blurted it out without thinking, and she got flustered and covered her mouth.
"No, it's not for her."
'But it's still a she, so who is it? And why am I curious?! I don't care who she is.'
She shakes her head to brush it off.
"Okay, I'm not even curious who she is."
On the way to the production of the furniture, Aizen is staring at Serlina with affection while Serlina is taking notes on what she has to do today.
Serlina notices that Aizen is staring at her.
"Is there something wrong with my face?"
"Nothing, it's just, it's been a while since I've seen you."
"Been a while? I kept seeing you everywhere, and it's kinda annoying."
Aizen chuckles as he finds her reaction funny.
"Do what you need to do; I'll enjoy the beautiful scenery."
Though she finds his stares awkward, she focuses on her errands.
'What's up with him? I thought he hated me. Why is his gaze too affectionate? Or is it just me?'
As they go on their way to the production, they pass through the plaza where serlina notices something strange.
"Why are they wearing the same dress that I wore last night?"
"It seems like they were amused by what you wore; that's why they bought the same. I mean, I can't blame them for how beautiful you were last night."
'I couldn't find that dress anywhere, but now it's all over the dress shops!'
Meanwhile at the Popular Dress Shop,
Abigail is pissed because of the trending dress that Serlina wore at the banquet. She's with her peers demanding that the shop remove all the dresses.
"I can't believe that someone will wear something like this; it's atrocious"
Abigail said madly.
"I know, right? It's not even that beautiful; it's not for everyone to wear."
The Owner of the shop interjects into their conversation.
"I'm sorry, my lady. It's a popular dress among the nobles; we can't just refuse their orders since it's already been paid."
Abigail sighs in disbelief,
She and her peers are about to leave, but the shop owner says something.
"I hope you liked the dresses that Lord Aizen ordered, my lady."
"What dresses? I have no idea what you're saying."
"All of our expensive dresses were bought by him this morning. He demanded to ship directly to his mansion; I assume it's for you."
Abigail is clueless, but she says that it's hers so no one will know.
"Ahh, I must have forgotten. It's his surprise for me this morning because we had a little fight last night; it's his form of apology."
"Wow, how sweet is Lord Aizen to you? I can't believe he bought all of the expensive dresses just for you." One of her minions said.
"You must've lost some weight, My Lady, because the size is different from your usual orders."
"Yes, I'm planning to stay fit."
Deep inside, Abigail is furious because she knows who received the dresses that Aizen bought, and she now knows that they are together in his mansion.
As she arrives at the production of their furniture, she looks for Xavier right away.
