Rachel's POV
Groaning, I tried to move but discovered I was on something soft, my hair brushing my lips and arms twisted at a wrong angle. Hissing, I pulled it out from under me and flashed my eyes open.
My lids squinted at the brightness, causing me to blink and take in my surrounding to realize I was in Lorenzo and I's bedroom. With the realization came the memories and the gravity of what had transpired the previous day.
Sitting up, I brushed my fingers through my hair and exhaled. I observed the door slightly ajar, which was weird hence I had shut it the moment I entered. Briefly wondering if Lorenzo was close, I listened to the quiet house, however the only sound flooding my ears was the ticking of the clock.
My attention shifted to it and noted it was almost noon, making me wonder how long I had slept for. I recalled talking to Debby last night, after which I turned off my phone and didn't know when I fell asleep.
