Qin Qi was eagerly waiting for Sister-in-law Song Yun's grand feast.
And then he saw Lin Songyun rushing over, covered in black smoke and soot, carrying a large basin over a meter wide. This unexpected 'surprise' gave Qin Qi quite a fright.
Lin Songyun placed the basin in the center of the dining table and was very pleased to see Qin Qi had arrived.
Pointing at the tangled mess inside the basin, she excitedly said, "Qin Qi is here too, great! Eat up before you leave, try some of the food I made; took me two hours, quite an effort!"
Qin Qi leaned over to take a look inside the basin.
Really, he wasn't exaggerating; he felt he had seen such a dish somewhere before.
But seeing Lin Songyun so enthusiastic, and with Qin Chen present, Qin Qi could only force a smile: "Well, Sister-in-law, I won't stand on ceremony."
"No need for ceremony, you two start eating, I'll go get the rice."
